I finished my font! Say hello to Electric Sheep.
The name of the font is inspired by Philip K. Dickโs book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
Rick Deckard had an electric sheep and now you can have one, too.
The button will allow you to download the โelectric-sheep.ttfโ file. Here are links explaining how to install a font: Mac / Windows.
It doesnโt have every character but I made the โยฎโ symbol into a sheep so hopefully that makes up for it.
Have fun! Let me know what you think.
2:
Iโm working on a type specimen zine for Electric Sheep.
The specimen will showcase different aspects of the font and allow someone to buy the zine from me and get a font (or buy the font and get a zine).
If youโre unfamiliar with type specimens this is a good (and very cool) place to start.

Later this month Iโm going to an art book fair in Boston. I was digging through my archives looking for things to bring and I found some daily zines I made back in October.
I wanted to capture the day in little moments. I thought, โIt would be great to do this every single day!โ
That enthusiasm lasted one more day.

over at posted this and it reminded me of a bumper sticker I saw that said, โBorn to chill, forced to work.โNow that we all have to fight algorithms that bumper sticker could say, "Born to create, forced to generate content."
Some other phrases Iโve been kicking around:
Born to make art, forced to feed algorithms.
Born to share, forced to sell.
Born to make, forced to monetize.
Born to create, forced to crosspost.

โs new book You Broke It! is VERY good. Itโs a humbling reminder that I used to be a kid and I canโt believe how fast I forgot.Liana Finck and Demetri Martin are the only two people who live in an exclusive part of my brain labeled, โAble to make me laugh out loud by drawing a couple lines.โ
P.S. Liana Finckโs weekly comics newsletter is great.
ALSO:
Spotted at Vinnyโs: ROUGHNECK laundry basket.
CRACK SKULLS. WEAR BEANIE. DO LAUNDRY.
โThis is where daddy works so we can buy groceries and lunch.โ
Thanks for reading! See you next week ๐
Love the font, and I just downloaded it to play a bit with it!
The sticker phrase is so true these days. It's like feeding a very hungry monster that doesn't give anything back!
Fabulous work on the fontageness, looks pukka!
