I used the Light Phone II for about 8 months and still have it around in case I want a break from smartphones again. It was great for detoxing from my phone but I ultimately found it a little too limiting. I’ve since moved to a tiny Unihertz smartphone called the Jelly, which has been the perfect balance for me. The Light Phone III looks significantly better than the II though! It’s definitely tempting.
I love to experience a creator’s work chronologically. I’ve done it with Vlogbrothers YouTube channel and L. M. Montgomery’s books (author of Anne of Green Gables.) I’m reading Terry Pratchett that way now.
awh thanks for finding my spotify post interesting enough to share!
i know that Alex Dobrenko used a light phone for a bit and made a post about it on Substack: https://botharetrue.substack.com/p/switching-to-a-dumb-phone-made-me?utm_source=publication-search

That's my biggest holdup. It seems like a good solution, but it might just be too limiting. I'll look into the Jelly!

It’s a fun way to experience someone’s work!
So many cool things I didn't know about! Thanks Mitchell.
