How do you take your artwork and make it into an animation? I was just on a walk and thinking about this, get home and see your email and right there is what I want to do: take something I’ve drawn and make it animated.
Would love to know how or links to how to do it vs being at the mercy of the google search. Loved the cover and also fits with the season.
Most of the animations I make are frame by frame animations so it's just a bunch of images that I cycle through quickly to give the illusion of movement. You can see all the frames I used for the butterfly animation here: https://volk.design/work/isthmus
I use the "create frame animation" feature in Photoshop to make almost all of my animations. I plan on making a video tutorial this summer when I have more time. Hopefully that's helpful!
Where can I download & print my own type size zine? It looks incredible!
I'll put a link in my newsletter next week!
I loved this entire poet, but man that type size zine feels life changing! I love it!
Thanks, Jason! (I'm going to post a link to download the PDF in my next newsletter)
Great! I'll be on the lookout for it!
I love the metamorphosis cover. Brilliant idea and wonderful to see a comic out in the real world.
Thanks, Matt!

Thank you. It gives me a place to start. And I see you linked to a how to from Adobe in this week’s newsletter. Thank you!
